The Rural Manitoba Health Mentorship Program is a partnership between the Office of Rural and Northern Health (ORNH) and various rural Manitoba hospitals. This program was established to enable students to learn about the clinical and non-clinical aspects of the health care system in rural Manitoba. Students involved will gain insight into the relations within rural communities and gain valuable medical experience. The health professionals involved will play an instrumental role in the development of tomorrow's practitioners as mentors for the interns.
