Requirements:
- Must be registered in or have completed an Undergraduate program at any accredited Manitoba university/college
- Must have a minimum 3.60 AGPA
- Must be willing to make a minimum one-week commitment
- Must have prior experience (ie. Hospital or personal care home)
- Must provide the selection committee with two reference letters (Cannot be from family members or friends)
- Must provide the selection committee with a offical criminal record check and a child abuse registry (This can be done after students get accepted into the program)
- Must provide the selection committee with at least one copy of a university transcript (Unofficial copy will be adequate)
These requirements are meant to aid in the selection of potential students as well as meet the minimum requirements set by each hospital.
NOTE -
In addition to completing the application form and meeting these requirements, the students must provide BOTH the checklist AND a 15 dollar non-fundable processing fee for all applications. Please enclose payment with the application and make cheques payable to Edward Tan. Applications without the checklist or the cheque will not be considered.
Applications for the 2011-2012 RMHMP are due February 17th, 2012. No extensions of this deadline will be made. Please send the application form and all requested materials to the address show below:
